
Anna Cooke Kendrick is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child in theatrical productions. Her first leading role was in the Broadway High Society musical in 1998 where she won a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. She made her film debut in the musical Camp and rose to fame for her role in The Twilight Saga. Kendrick gained recognition with her comedy-drama Up in the Air, earning her Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actress and for a Leading Role in the Pitch Perfect series.
